Locked in this Moment

i want the world to fade away

all the colors to turn black and gray

i want the sun to fade to dark

so that all that is left is an ark

formed from the gleaming light of the moon

that now stretches over this city where nothing blooms

were no flowers grow, no birds sing

no fish swim, nor people sing

i want the world to fade away

for all the people to die, rot and decay

for all life to cease as we know it

except for you and i

locked in this moment

if all the world would fade away

everything would be black and gray

and that is just the way that we want it

you and i
